2 arrested for robbing woman while she pumped gas in El Monte Two people were arrested on Friday after they were captured on surveillance video robbing a woman while she was pumping gas. On Friday at approximately 8:45 p.m., a victim reported a grand theft incident to the El Monte police that occurred on September 21 at a Route 66 gas station located at 12269 Garvey Ave. Surveillance video from the gas station showed one suspect entering the victim’s car through the passenger side while she was pumping gas, before fleeing the scene with the victim’s property in a getaway car driven by a second suspect. The suspects then transferred $2,300 from the victim’s bank account to their own bank account through the Zelle app.After the video footage was released to social and news media sites, detectives identified the suspects, Gabriel Ramos and Melissa Garavito, and located them in West Covina. Both Ramos and Garavito were arrested for grand theft.As of Thursday, the suspects posted bond and are no longer in custody pending a future court da...

Police ask for public's help identifying people in Levi's Stadium brawl (KRON) -- Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a brawl at Levi's Stadium in September, the Santa Clara Police Department announced Friday in a Nixle alert. The fight was during the San Francisco 49ers-New York Giants game on Sept. 21. Although one suspect in connection to the fight has been arrested for assault and battery, police are still looking for two more individuals involved. Santa Clara PD posted pictures of the wanted persons (below); the male suspect is picutred twice. Woodbridge man turns himself in for hit-and-run scooter crash in DC A Virginia man turned himself in after striking a D.C. man on a scooter and fleeing the scene last month.On Thursday, 25-year-old Danny Vasquez, of Woodbridge, turned himself to D.C. police for striking and critically injuring 29-year-old Stephen Grasty on Sunday, Sept. 3, according to police.Vasquez, driving in a silver Chevrolet Camaro, hit Grasty on 14th Street, SW while he was on an electric Lime scooter. He then fled the scene but was followed by a witness who called police while reading off his license plate number.Grasty was taken to a local hospital after suffering a broken neck, broken leg and had trauma to his head.
