GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Every year, hot air balloonists flock to the Glens Falls area to take to the skies. The Adirondack Balloon Festival turns 50 this year, and it needs vendors. The 2023 Zonta Fall Craft Show is located at the festival grounds at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury every year, this year running from Sept. 22-24.Those interested in selling their crafts and handmade goods can reach out to the Zonta Club of Glens Falls at [email protected]. ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Gillette Shows Carnival has opened at Viaport Mall in Rotterdam. The event will run from June 1 through June 11. (NEWS10) -- A unique way of giving back to those who served -- Purple Heart Homes and the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project providing a much needed roof replacement for a veteran in need. Kevin Young, a Johnstown-based U.S. Air Force Veteran, said the project helps him immensely. “As a disabled veteran, we’re not able to get up on the roof and we’re so used to doing everything ourselves that reaching out to somebody is kind of a kick, it makes it harder for us to accept help in a way," Young said. FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - A Houston, Texas, man was arrested Wednesday on a federal indictment for an attempted ATM theft in Bethalto, Illinois. According to Bethalto Police Chief T. Mike Dixon, the attempted theft happened on March 18, 2022, at Associated Bank.A joint investigation by the FBI and Bethalto Police Department identified multiple suspects in connection with the would-be theft.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Illinois charged Goldie Jones, 28, with one count of conspiracy to commit bank larceny.Jones was finally arrested in Livingston, Louisiana, on that warrant and other unrelated crimes.Bellefontaine Neighbors man charged in domestic violence case

CLAYTON, Mo. - A Bellefontaine Neighbors man has been jailed in connection with a domestic violence investigation.The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Jordan Wilson, 21, with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree domestic assault.According to a report from the Normandy Police Department, the incident took place on May 17, at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Castle Park Drive.Police claim Wilson and his girlfriend were having an argument outside the complex. She told Wilson to leave and then walked back inside with her toddler-aged daughter.
