NY State of Health partners with pharmacies to prepare for health insurance changes ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- NY State of Health, the state’s official health plan marketplace, announced they are partnering with pharmacies across the state. Their goal is to educate New Yorkers enrolled in public health insurance programs about impending changes to their coverage. Enrollees in Medicaid, Child Health Plus and the Essential Plan programs have not had to renew their coverage since 2020 due to continuous coverage requirements associated with the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. However the December 2022 federal Consolidated Appropriations Act now require the state to resume eligibility redeterminations for over 8 million enrollees this spring. City of Kingston to install two DCFC EV charging stations KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The City of Kingston will utilize a grant from the Department of Environmental Conservation's Municipal Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Grant Program to install two electric vehicle charging stations at 2 Broadway. Currently, the City of Kingston has five locations with Level 2 EV chargers. Four more will come online in 2023. On Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6, the Washington County Antique Fair comes to the Washington County Fairgrounds. Rocky Mountain National Park announces summer seasonal Hiker Shuttle operations begin May 26 Rocky Mountain National Park will operate the Hiker Shuttle during the 2023 summer season beginning on Friday, May 26. Seven-day service will operate May 26 through Sept. 4. Beginning on Sept. 9, Saturday and Sunday only service will continue through Oct. 22.The Hiker Shuttle provides bus service to passengers departing the Estes Park Visitor Center and going to RMNP’s Park and Ride Transit Hub, located on Bear Lake Road. This bus does not provide service to any other stops. 2 dead after driver hits pedestrian, then building in downtown Los Angeles: LAPD Two people are dead after a car struck a pedestrian, then hit a building in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning, police said.A few minutes before 1:30 a.m., a 25-year-old man was walking on a sidewalk alongside 6th Street when he was hit by a car that was traveling in the same direction, police said in a news release. That vehicle then continued on until it struck a building.The driver and pedestrian were both taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
